Ties that Bind

| SpurtsLast Night? Not so Much. Two horrible games. I was in the headache zone. I had a slice of pizza and 1 beer, and started getting one massive headache. Game one started with Tom Pruitt wearing the totem tie the Gumby tie, the I was the guy who was the worst bowler on my team last time we bowled tie. By the end of the first game I was nursing a knock down drag put fight in my brain case. I bowled a 131, 22 pins below my average. Rich Bowled a 130, also 22 pins below his average, so for game two we had a tie at worst below average. Being a tie situation I wore the "tie" for the first 5 frames of game 2 Rich wore the "tie" for the final 5 frames. So what happened? I won the tie wearing tie breaker by bowling worse in game two than game one. With sole possession of the "GUMB" I picked it up. I bowled a 169 in game three. Rich was the lowest and will be adorned by the tie next game next Friday.

Today: The mega-cash tournament. Today the chance to advance to the next level. Today the NFL Divisional playoffs begin. Today the Seahawks play the Packers, today the Jaguars play the Patriots. Today is the chance to advance to the next level for two teams, and the reality of hanging up your cleats and shoulder pads until next year for two teams. Tomorrow the Chargers and Colts do the same thing, the Giants and Cowboys the do the same thing.

I started this post an hour ago. I have been watching the NFL network playbook shows the entire time I have been trying to post. It is very distracting. Plus I get misty every time they say the World Champion Colts, so that is slowing me down a bit too. Jenni left me this morning. Did I mention that? She went to try to get a little more done on the nightmare system at her work and left me sleeping, to work off the headache and disappointment of another bad night of kegling. She is planning on joining up with us at the bowling alley while I mega-crash in the mega-cash tournament a little after two. So my time is dwindling and my distractions continue on the playoff match-up shows on NFL network. Mega-cash? Playoffs? Win or go home baby!
I am done here.
GO COLTS!
One More day then...
