Quite Possibly...

| SpurtsWell, even watching the Robotic Patriots I don't think I've ever seen a more amazing 1st quarter of NFL Football. Manning had 118 yards, 2 TD's and an 80% completion ratio, and a statistically perfect 156.3 rating. Unlike some teams with huge leads, we took out most of our starters after the second series of the second half. One of those teams, I think I may have mentioned them already in a recent post, have argued that the other team will still continue to 'try' to win despite being down by 31 with under 18 minutes to play, that is why 'they' never take out the starters. While 31 points in 1 and 1/5th quarters in not impossible, it is highly improbable, and while leaving a a powerhouse offense in against a dishcloth defense, and devastated offensive opponent is not against the rules, it does certainly give a measure of the character of the team and it's leaders.
Well! After the 2 minute warning, Baltimore's rookie QB, Troy Smith (last year's Heisman Trophy winner) in his first professional game in the NFL, just scored his first TD on a QB keeper for 6 yards. We should put our starters back in, they have not just capitulated to our superior might. There is still 1:08 left to play, what if they get an onside kick (or 3, and score TD's and 2pt conversions each time? That would lead to overtime and we would look like bleeding heart fools! Right? It is all about the win. At all costs. Right?
Final Score Indy 44. The Browns Ravens 20. Cotls 11-2, and the number 2 seed in the AFC.
