Three, Two...Go

| SpurtsI seems like all I do is grouse about work right before the holiday. It seems like that because all I do is work, right before the holiday. Today is our last 5:30 Saturday of 2007, tomorrow our last Sunday open (11-4 if you need some honey for your sugar, baby) and the on X-mas eve we are there 9-3PM. I will be doing other things during theses three days than sleeping and working. I will find time to Eat. I will croak and sneeze as I have been doing for the last 48 plus hours, and I'll gladly try to forget the last sanctioned game I bowled of 2007.
And Now For Something Totally Different...

Last night at Sport Bowl was a lot of fun, even if I did struggle on the final game (28 below average). The first two were well enough over that average that when we return to engage the enemy pins in 2008 I will have an average that is higher by a couple of ticks, so will Mr. Culy who had a very good evening all three games over his mark. Ed Craig and Tom Pruitt, our partners in crime, both fell a couple of pins below there series average but each had one game over average by a fair margin. Last Night I sat into motion a new tradition for team Copies Plus (that's us). The man who bowls the least off his average wears a totem of his disgrace. The Gumby Tie. I have had this tie for 15 or 20 years and have only worn it a few times to parties and such (as claymation related events are few and far between in central Indiana). So the Gumby will now tell the world who is not pulling his weight on team Copies Plus for the foreseeable future. After game one Mr. Pruitt adorned the tie (and vice versa) and after game two he repeated as two time low-sir, but through the virtue of my 28 pin deficit I will start my next league approved kegling event in 2008 with the dashing haberdashery dangling from my head support. I'm Gumby Dammit!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD WEEK-END!
