| Toil ItAnother blanket would be nice. A hot cup of tea and some chicken soup. I talked to my folks in Old Town Florida last night. Warned them of the deepfreeze they are in for today, now. The projection for that part of the eastern states was 19° this morning. Five hundred miles further south in Stuart FLorida, Meredith is expecting low 30's. But here in central Indiana Mr. Freeze is out doing himself. The projected low last night (at least on some of the meteorological dart boards games) was 9°, well in deathly cold games of chance a 5 under is a loosing bet (and toes and fingers too if you are not lucky). That blanket? The fluffy white one that started in the wee hours of the 1st, the one that was stinging my face yesterday morning? That's not the blanket I was looking for.
What did you do on the 1st? Jenni and I had a marathon DVD session again, we had no choice but watch The Bourne Ultimatum, obviously, then we watched the last 7 episodes of season two of Buffy the Vampire Slayer all the while huddled under blankets with lap cats and/or dogs as additional barriers to the cold air inside. Well' I need to wrap this up, wrap myself up and start the Mädchen and get her internals warming for about 10 minutes before I subject her to her first "out of garage" experience of 2008.
Don't for get to take your chill pills this morning. Have a good 2, I have 3 off again before working 4 and 5 to get to 6.
